Quality, Ethical Breeding Matters
All our parents are DNA/Health tested through Wisdom Optimal testing. We test for predisposed health conditions BEFORE breeding. We do annual comprehensive physical exams through our licensed certified vet and a PCR fecal panel to test for major viruses and parasites, as well as a standard FELV/FIP annual test. All our breeders are vaccinated yearly.

Highlander/Highland Lynx is a hybrid, purebred breed that originated from taking two hybrid breeds (Desert Lynx & Jungle Curl) with specific natural mutations to create one breed. Having mutations means those need to be thoughtfully bred. We DO NOT over-breed, or over mutate but rather balance female traits to our male traits as per the BREED STANDARD through TICA.

We DO NOT focus on breeding for "desired traits" but the health and temperament of our kittens. You will see variations of straight to curled ears, variations of short tail up to long tail, standard paws or polydactyl paws.

Lastly, our cats are loved. One of the best feelings is to receive unconditional love always and our cats deserve that in return which is why we operate a small cattery.
Retired Queen Sia
Sia has been ruler of the house since day one, February 2019. As our first breeder, she has since been retired and remains our beloved cat keeping everyone in line.
Stud Atreyu
Atreyu is our handsome and loving stud. He is a blue spotted tabby with polydactyl paws front & back, short hock length tail and loosely curled ears. He brings differing colors from blue, black, smoke, cinnamon dilute and mink with his heritage.
Queen
Missia "Missy" Blue
Missia Blue has a unique blend of purebred exotic, bringing in a Rex gene that we're hoping to see curly-esque coats and possible hairless kittens in addition to standard. Her personality is sprightful, playful and she is extremely agile.
Queen
Oakley
"Mama Oaks"
Sweet Mama Oaks is a curly or Mohave Bob which may also be known as Selkirk Rex. She brings an extremely loving, purring and soft personality to our breeding program that results in kittens that will purr when you look at them. Her curly coat may be passed down to her offspring.
